Bishop Carlton Pearson’s “Doctrine of Inclusion” is ruffling quite a few feathers in the Christian community. Bishop Carlton is a fourth generation classical Pentecostal preacher and he was a fixture for quite some time on Christian television. I remember watching him on TBN and hearing the story about how he met his wife.
During the nineties, Bishop Carlton put on enormously popular revival meetings that he called “Azusaâ€. Over 30,000 people would attend the conferences and sell out hotels all over the city. The biggest names in gospel were in attendance and often performed. He had several popular Azusa conference CD’s. The “Mother Sherman Story”, that’s on the Live at Azusa, Vol. 2: Precious Memories CD, is still a favorite on gospel radio.
