1. James B. Davis, the founder of the Dixie Hummingbirds, has passed at the age of 90. Davis was the founder of “The Birds” and was known as a strict disciplinarian. He passed 4/7 of heart trouble.
2. The Rance Allen Group, one of the most successful gospel music groups of all time, will be appearing at the Dublin City Soul Festival in May.
3. According the the Christian Post, gospel musicians are hard to find.
4. Snoop Dogg’s mom is an evangelist and she has not given up on her son. She says he is going to be a preacher one day!
