DATE: Saturday, November 10, 2007
TIME: 7:00 p.m.
THE MUSIC:

Songs: All Around, Sweeter, Say So, Your Love, Free To Worship, From the Inside Out, We Win, Song of Hope
Great night of worship as usual! It’s always great to see how much the audience loves to participate in worship. Everyone is on their feet as soon as the first notes are played. There is always a lot of anticipation in the air.
A new favorite song of mine is Free to Worship. Da’dra does a great job with this one. She seems to sing it differently each time and the lyrics implore you to worship God totally and without restraint.
THE MESSAGE:
Scripture Reference: Ephesians 2:10, Philemon 1:6, Psalm 139:14, Ephesians 1:12
Subject: We Are God’s Masterpiece
Quick Notes From The Sermon:
Pastor Joel spoke about being happy with who God made you to be. He said God designed us to be who we are on purpose. We are God’s most prized possession. Don’t go around wishing you had more of this or that. Accept who God made you to be. God breathed His very life into each of us. When you get up every morning you should say that you have God’s fingerprints all over you.
Many people smile on the outside, but have a very negative attitude toward themselves on the inside. Celebrate who God made you to be and be secure in it. Meditate on the fact that you are valuable and the apple of God’s eye. Pastor Joel said that we should retrain our minds to acknowledge the good things we do. Don’t depend on outside validation for approval. When you can’t validate yourself, life is a rollercoaster.
If you want to make God happy approve and accept yourself. When you understand your value, your very presence will bring God praise.
**These are my quick notes from the sermon. To get the full effect you can watch this service and other archived services at Lakewood’s website or Pastor Joel’s website. You can also sign up for the free podcasts or call 1-800-487-0565 for copies of the sermons.
THE ATMOSPHERE:
It is always great to see someone you know at church. You would think that the church is so large you would never see anyone you know, but the opposite is true. The more you go, the smaller it seems.
Love your church and the services? Have you ever wished that you could share your joy with the world? We would love to feature your church on 1800Gospel. Post a comment or e-mail me at dominique@1800gospel.com and tell us all about the music, the message and the atmosphere at your church. We would love to hear from you!

I have been playing the piano for 10 years and I’ve never been able to place at the level I should be until I ran across Jermaine’s Hear and Play website. After I ordered my first set of DVD’s,
