Subject: Having The God Kind of Faith
Quick Notes From The Sermon: Pastor Joel spoke about having the God kind of faith, which is the kind of faith that challenges you to go beyond the boundaries of your past and to accomplish things out of the ordinary. Pastor Joel said that when you have the God kind of faith its as if God is believing through you. This kind of faith is from God, not from us. When the God kind of faith rises up there will be two voices -the negative voice and the voice of hope and victory. Always choose the voice of victory and hope. God will never give us the dream without the faith to accomplish it. Pastor Joel said that God doesn’t ask us to figure it all out, He only asks us to believe.
If you let the faith of God take over, you will see amazing things. Pastor Joel said that you have to tell yourself that you have enough faith to overcome every obstacle, to accomplish every dream, and to live a victorious life. Quit telling yourself you don’t have enough faith to overcome. You may not feel like you can do it on your own, but God will give you the strength you need.
If you shake off the negative defeated mindset and let the faith of God take root, something will rise up on the inside. Your faith may not be strong enough, but the faith of God that you have on the inside is. Pastor Joel said that the reason he overcame is because he learned to tap into the faith of God. He said all we have to do is believe and God will do amazing things through us.
