Joel Osteen and Jay Bakker Agree to Disagree
After "ambushing" Pastor Joel in the receiving line, Jay Bakker finally gets the meeting he wanted since last year.
During their chat, the two men agreed to disagree.
"I don’t think homosexuality is a sin, and they do," Bakker said, "but it was very nice of Joel to introduce me to his family. I met Joel’s wife and mother, and they were just great. … I’m really grateful." Houston Chronicle

“I don’t think homosexuality is a sin” is what Bakker lives by, but it is apparent that he doesn’t know the bible, or either he knows it but is in denial about the reality of it? He states that he’s a Christian, yet he agrees with homosexuality? In the Bible it clearly states that homosexuality is an abomination (ref. Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13). It tells us to hate the sin, not the person. There’s an enormous difference there that most people have difficulty understanding.
