4. Rick Warren of the popular megachurch, Saddleback Church, says that Pastors shouldn’t endorse politicians.
"I would never endorse a candidate. I would never campaign for a candidate," he added.
"I think as a pastor my role is to pastor all the flock regardless of their political persuasion, so I wouldn’t have wanted endorsements anyways."-Source

Gospel Music Singer Rosalyn Brunswick-McDuffie Passes Away
Houston resident and former Donnie McClurkin background singer, Rosalyn Brunswick-McDuffie, 39, has passed away of stomach cancer. Rosalyn was a member of the Gospel music duo, Lyric Sings, along with Rhonda McLemore. Information on Lyric can be found on the myspace page. Rosalyn released her first CD, “Just Rosalyn”, in 2003 which featured the hit single, “Speak To Me”.
According to Palace of Praise Church, where the McDuffie’s pastor, the Memorial service will be held Friday, August 1st, and the funeral will be held Saturday, August 2nd at Fountain of Praise Church in Houston, Tx.
Rosalyn leaves behind her husband, Pastor Efrem McDuffie, daughters Charizma Zhone, 9, Charity Zhoni 7, and son Sir William Christopher, 2.

Newsday Report on the Homegoing of Betty Wright and DJ Wright
Newsday reports that a 120 voice choir performed the song that Betty Wright wrote, "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus" and Daniel Wright, the father of DJ, thanked the congregation for their love and prayers and said "Pastor Wright is going to be all right". DJ’s principal at his school in Roosevelt said that DJ wanted to be a gospel singer like his grandfather.
Rev. Timothy Wright remains in critical condition in a Penn s ylvania hospital.
Gospel Music Artist Hezekiah Walker Chosen as Bishop
Pastor Hezekiah Walker will be elevated to the office of Bishop on Sunday, August 3rd at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. Pastor Walker has pastored one of the fasted growing churches in the New York area and even has a Love Fellowship Tabernacle in Capetown, South Africa.
