Gospel Music Legend, Rev. Timothy Wright, Critically Injured in Car Crash

Please pray for a full recovery for Rev. Timothy Wright and for comfort and peace for his family.
Rev. Timothy Wright, 61, was critically injured in a car crash on a Pennsylvania highway on Friday July 4th. His wife of 37 years, Betty, 58, was killed and his grandson D.J, 14, died of his injuries in the hospital. Wright and his family were returning home from a church conference in Detroit.
Rev. Timothy Wright has released more than a dozen gospel recordings and his most recent CD entitled Jesus, Jesus, Jesus is enjoying tremendous success because of the traditional singles "You Must Come in At the Door" and the title track. Wright was known as the Godfather of Gospel Music because he loved to help aspiring Gospel music singers.

In the words of a renown song writer, “Be Encouraged, No Matter what’s going on, He’ll make it allright, BUT YOU GOTTA STAY STRONG!”
The Bailey Family of Tulsa, Oklahoma is praying for the Wright family!
Gid Bless!
We here are praying for God’s strength and healing in this time. Keep on praying and trusting in God, I know you will!!
Rev. Wright, you and your wife were ordained before time for a time like this. If there is any one that God can depend on, it is you. You will finish your race and your strength will comfort many of us.
And, like the Book of Job, we will understand that the Bible continues to LIVE through giants like you and your life story. Your helpmate, co-pastor and wife, Betty, and your grandson, went home to glory. You will finish the race and souls will be saved. God will be glorified because you lay in the hospital fearless and peacefull. Death has nothing on you, Man of God. God’s continuous blessing remains with you and your generation as we continue to praise God.
On Sunday, July 6, 2008, I watched a video interview on BCAT as Rev. Wright was being interview. As I watched and listened, I could not help wondering if Rev. Wright had a premonition of his life as he spoke about an incident that took place on the 4th of July some years ago. He gave the details of his late wife’s revelation during a sermon about her song, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Rev. Wright’s wife had a revelation that day, the song Jesus, Jesus Jesus will anchor deliverance for many souls for centuries to come. And now all we have to do is call on his name. As the song says, “what’s His name,” Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
