   MS. ALLISON WAS A WONDERFUL WOMAN OF GOD! SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED AS SHE TOUCHED SO MANY LIVES. NOT ONLY WAS SHE MY GODMOTHER, BUT SHE WAS A GREAT FRIEND AS WELL AND I WILL NEVER FORGET HER AS SHE WILL LIVE ON IN MY HEART. I HAVE NOTHING BUT FOND MEMORIES OF HER AND I KNOW SHE IS RESTING IN THE ARMS OF JESUS. WE SHALL MEET AGAIN OVER THERE!!

   Hi Peyton,

   Thanks for posting. Ms Allison certainly left a wonderful legacy and will be missed. She made a huge impact on Gospel music with her songs.

   I am a big fan of gospel music. I have a dvd that I play over and over again with a lot of the old school group singers. Ms. Margret is one of them singing and testifying in Touch Me Lord Jesus.I had no ideal she had past until 2 days ago. I really love her singing and she will truly be missed but God needed her most. Rest in Peace and sing up in heaven for your Master.

   Hi Sally,

   I remember hearing “Touch Me Lord, Jesus” a lot growing up. It’s a beautiful song and Ms. Allison is an important part of the Gospel music legacy that we all enjoy.

   Mrs. Margaret Allison; the “Great” Margaret Allison. Touched me. A voice of an angel. Her dream touched me. I met her last year as she visited Vicksburg,Ms. She will be missed, and i will continue to sing her songs in her memory whereever i may go.

   Mrs. Margaret Allison was a beautiful gift from God and a great inspiration. She will be missed. She is an important vessel to Gospel music and the legacy she leaves behind will continue to touch lives for years to come.

   The GLORI RADIO family is blessed to pay tribute to her memory November 7, 2008 at “The Life in the Spirit Awards” in Kansas City, MO.

    Such a wonderful gospel singer!! So sorry to hear she passed. I love her music and find myself singing her songs over and over throughout my day. I hope to one day sing along side her in that great chorus!!
