1. South Africa’s Soweto Gospel Choir will be in concert Saturday at The Paramount Theater in Charlottesville. The choir has won Grammy Awards for Best Traditional World Music Album for 2006 and 2007.~Newsleader

We are all trying to advance the cause of Christ.~Christian Post

3. We complain a lot here in the States about our cars, school, homes, or our trinkets, but for a lot of people being able to eat is all that matters.~"If you rest, you starve."

4. Beverly Crawford has been named National Spokesperson for Literacy.~The Black Gospel Blog

5. The CompassionArt charity album, CompassionArt: Creating Freedom From Poverty, will be available for purchase next week. The 14-track album will feature Christian/Gospel music artists such as Steven Curtis Chapman, Israel Houghton, Kirk Franklin, CeCe Winans, & Darlene Zschech. Make a difference by purchasing from the CD from the CompassionArt website. What a great gift to give for the holidays!
