Gospel Music Channel Video Award Winners for 2008

Lecrae’s "Prayin For You" won for Best Hip Hip Video of the Year and Marvin Sapp won for Best Soul Video  for "Never Would Have Made It". Other winners were Switchfoot, Rascal Flatts, Funky & Alex Campos, Sons of Day, and Flyleaf. You can watch the Video Awards again on GMC January 2nd.

The Gospel Music Channel television network created the GMCVAs to honor the top videos in seven genre categories as well as the overall Top Video of the Year with winners being determined by viewers and fans through online voting at GospelMusicChannel.com Voters chose from nominees in Rock, Country, Soul, Hip Hop, Pop, Contemporary and Latin categories that were determined by the amount of airplay the videos received on Gospel Music Channel during 2008.
