Melinda Watts, the season three winner of Gospel Dream, will be releasing her debut gospel music album, People Get Ready, on July 28th. Melinda’s powerhouse vocals and warm bravado captured the hearts of millions of fans, when she won Gospel Music Channel’s reality talent search series. Influenced by gospel legends CeCe Winans, Natalie Grant and Shirley Caesar, Melinda shares a love of music and her church.
Watts will be touring this summer in New York, Atlanta, Chicago and Philadelphia in support of the new gospel music album. She will also be on an episode of Lift Every Voice and Gospel Dream 2009.
The new season of Gospel Dream starts June 24th on Gospel Music Channel. Judges on board are Michelle Williams, J. Moss, and Mitchell Solarek. I’m looking forward to the new season!
