Contemporary Christian artist Meka King’s debut CD “Count It All Joy” is meant to encourage and inspire God’s people to worship, love and trust Him, even when things are rough.
A true lover of the presence of the Lord, Meka says she discovered that worship leads her to joy in darkness. “In His presence is fullness of joy. And there’s no place that I’d rather be, especially when I can’t handle this thing called life. We all have moments that rock our world, things that shake us. There was a point in my life when I didn’t want to go on. My Grandparents both died suddenly within 6 months of each other, people that I loved continuously hurt me and broke my heart, I could not find a purpose for my life or a reason to live. It was dark. But when I worshipped, I found love, hope, and purpose. And when I got through I was stronger, better and closer to my destiny. This is why I can tell others to COUNT IT ALL JOY!”
