Gospel Music News-God’s Property, Ambassadors Concert Choir + More

According to Pegasus News, gospel music artist Kirk Franklin reunited with his old choir God’s Property for a performance on Saturday night in Garland at Mount Hebron Baptist Church. Kirk and the group received a Grammy award for their groundbreaking gospel music album Whatcha Lookin’ 4 in 1997, but the group sued their record label a year later because of a bad contract. It’s great to hear that they put all that aside to sing together again. Remember the wildly popular gospel song “Stomp”?

The public memorial service to honor Oral Roberts will be Monday, December 21st on the campus of Oral Roberts University. For those not able to attend the memorial service in person, it will be broadcast live on television on local channel 53 KGEB-TV, and on Golden Eagle Broadcasting. The service will also be webcast live at christian.tv/oral-roberts/.
