New Year’s Eve & 5AM Praise
Christmas is not over yet, but New Year’s Eve concerts and events are something to look forward to also. There is a New Year’s Eve concert with gospel music artists 5AM Praise, Fred Hammond, Tye Tribbett & Vickie Winans coming up in Upper Marlboro, MD at the Showplace Arena.
I’m not really sure who 5AM Praise is, but they were nominated for a Stellar Award for their latest gospel music CD The Beginning. The gospel music sister duo is being touted as “the hottest new Gospel Duo, with an interactive stage presence and anointing to make everyone in the room feel like getting their praise on”. Maybe after the Stellar Awards and the New Year’s Eve concert I will know more about them and their gospel music.
I heard on the radio that Israel Houghton will be at Pastor Ralph West’s church in Houston for a New Year’s Eve concert. I will be posting more about New Year’s Eve festivities as they come up.
What are your plans for New Year’s Eve? We normally spend it pretty quietly with the kiddies, but I think it would be great to spend it singing some great gospel songs. That would be a great way to get the new year started.

I didn’t see ticket prices so I assume it is free. The concert is Thursday, December 31, 2009 from 9pm – 12am. It will be at the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, MD (not sure if inside or out).
