Spend Your New Year’s Eve With Gospel Music Artists Leah Smith & Melonie Daniels
The young adult ministry of The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York will be holding a Christian young adult party in New York City with gospel music artists Leah Smith and Melonie Daniels. The event is titled Unforgettable 2010: A New Year’s Red Carpet Affair, and will be held at the exclusive Kai Studio in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn on Jan. 1 at 12:30 am directly following the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York watch night service. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at the Greater Allen church website.
There is going to be free valet parking, a red carpet, photo wall, a catered meal by Harlem’s soul food and Caribbean restaurant, Mobay Uptown, and music by DJ Tony Tone.
Gospel music industry veteran Melonie Daniels is a former vocal arranger and director to Mariah Carey and has also worked with countless gospel music artists such as Kirk Franklin, Karen Clark Sheard, Kim Burrell, and Fred Hammond. Gospel music artist Leah Smith is a former member of Israel and New Breed. Leah released her debut EP entitled Beautifully Made in October 2009. Both artists will perform with a live band and will be featuring music from their respective projects.
