The Oxon Hill High School choir won a Stellar Award this year for Children’s Performance of the Year which makes them the first high school choir to ever win a Stellar. The choir’s director, Emory Andrews is amazed, and say that he is getting calls from all over the country offering congratulations and seeking the choir to perform.

In celebration of Black History month gospel music’s Marvin Sapp will be performing at the Houston Rockets game against the Philadelphia 76er’s during halftime on February 6th. The game will be at the Toyota Center in Houston. Marvin Sapp is a seven time Stellar Award winner and his gospel song “The Best in Me” is currently topping charts everywhere.
