Kim Burrell Sings in Tribute to Whitney Houston at BET Honors 2010

Gospel music turned inspirational artist Kim Burrell’s performance on BET Honors 2010 was awesome. She performed “I Believe in You and Me” in tribute to honoree Whitney Houston.

As soon as she started singing Whitney was up and out of her seat and she stood up the the entire time.  Whitney was pretty excited…..Kim looked great and the performance was perfectly done. I loved the personals she inserted in the song. She told the story well.

Check out Kim Burrell at her new website, Backstage with Kim. Other honorees included Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Queen Latifah, Keith L. Black, M.D., Dr. Ruth J. Simmons.

kim blew it out the water with her performance on the BET awards show. Brilliant performance and so personal. Should record it and sell as a single

Raw emotion on both ends. So sad that Whitney’s voice, that power, isn’t what it used to be. It almost felt as if she was singing on her behalf. Took it to church!!!!!
