Win up to $25,000 in contest sponsored by gospel music artist Shirley Caesar
Think you have what it takes? Are you a talented singer, musician, actor, comedian, or rapper? If you are any of these, you should enter the I Got Nexx talent contest put on by gospel music artist Shirley Caesar.
Upload your best performance video-you will have to pay $25.00 for the privilege however-and your video will be voted on by Shirley Caesar’s team and fans. A winner will be announced on the 29th of each month with voting starting on the 1st of the month. The grand prize winner will receive a prize of $25,000, 2nd place gets $15,000, and 3rd place receives $10,000.
Pastor Caesar has certainly been busy lately. In addition to I Got Nexx, she released the gospel music video for “Playground in Heaven”, was featured on Best of the Stellar’s on Gospel Music Channel, and will be featured in the April 5th issue of Jet Magazine. Upcoming concert appearances include Carnegie Hall on April 28th and the Stellar Awards Gospel Music Mother’s Day Celebration on May 9th. You will also see her soon on the Mo’Nique show and Good Day Atlanta.

Do the song have to be an original song or can we sing any song.
According to the rules on the website the song has to have these qualifications:
• All applicants must perform original work unless; the copyrighted work that you’d like to submit is in public domain or if you, the artist, has already secured and can provide proof of the necessary rights to perform the work for distribution on the web.

i am from the caribbean and would be so interested in doing this….but you all never include csribbean countries…why??there are so many young people who have such beautiful voices in the country i come from…dominica…you should really have it in dominica or include the caribbean countries …
When is the last due date for submissions? When does the contest end? Where do we send submissions to?

According to the contest page a “Monthly winner announced on the 29th of every month. The competition will be held online every month with voting starting on the 1st of the month.”
