There are lots of opinions about Gospel artists re-making popular secular songs.
I think it’s a quick way to get people’s attention, but is it a wise choice in the long run? Or does it really matter? (I kinda liked P.J. Morton’s version of Lil Wayne’s “How To Love” and Mary Mary’s version of “Just The Way You Are” by Bruno Mars).
Looks like Deitrick Haddon is going to have more re-makes like this song coming. He has a Re-versed Mix Tape coming out soon that is going to have “your fav hits rev-ersed” his way.
What do you think? Deitrick Haddon himself recently weighed in via Twitter on why he re-versed “Climax.”
I gonna try to help some extreme, religious folk that need an understanding on why i chose to Re-verse Ushers “Climax”! Ok here we go…

There are a few songs i really like & enjoy listening to because of the melody or beat. However the lyrics do nothing to build my spirit!!

So..on the Re-versed mixed tape..I take some of those songs & replace their lyrics with those that will encourage & uplift someone!
