I’m looking forward to seeing the documentary because the Rance Allen Group is one of my favorite groups. Their performances are so dynamic, heartfelt and full of passion. They have been around for 40+ years and have been a major influence on countless artists. No doubt they gathered a lot more fans when they recorded and performed “How I Love The Name Jesus” with Kirk Franklin.
In celebration of their stellar career, Tyscot Music and Entertainment will be releasing a new CD/DVD entitled Amazing Grace. The CD will showcase the group’s music from the past 40 years. It has a release date of November 27th.
The project will include the documentary, Music Majors, which features rare interviews with Kirk Franklin, James Fortune, Isaac Caree, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Keith “Wonderboy” Johnson, Paul Porter and more.
