Singer/Songwriter Brandon Camphor says the message behind the song is to create “an urgency to care about people’s needs among the body of Christ.” Camphor says “I have the desire to be like Christ and Christ cares about every person in this world – He cares about our deepest desires, our needs, and though He is sovereign and attending to the needs of all – He still cares about me.”
You Are God is the impetus behind the adjoining service campaign which the group is rolling out in full in 2013 called the “BE LIKE G.O.D.” campaign with GOD being an acronym for Giving to Others Daily.
