Brian Courtney Wilson will be releasing a new DVD/CD entitled Just Love-Deluxe on October 5, 2010. The new offering includes five new Gospel songs: “Awesome God”, “The Word”, “Monday’s Pain”, “The Only Way” and “This Christmas”. In addition, the CD features all the previous songs from the debut recording.

Albertina Walker ‘Still Here’ contrary to rumours

There have been many unfounded reports stating that Gospel music legend Albertina Walker has passed away. This information is incorrect. Albertina Walker is still here.

The Golden Era Gospel blog posted on Friday, September 3rd that Albertina Walker had been released from the hospital and was at home resting. This information was obtained from Eric Peterson, Albertina Walker’s business liason.

Since that time The Belle Report tweeted on today, Monday September 6th that “as of 9:37 am today, Mon., 9/6 Queen, Albertina Walker is still here. She remains hospitalized on a ventilator in I.C.U.”

Please keep Albertina Walker in your prayers. She is a Gospel music legend and is loved tremendously in the Gospel music community.

Tyscot Records launch national listening party campaign

Tyscot Records will be giving Gospel music fans a chance to experience their favorite artists’ music before it hits the streets. Live Listening Parties will take place across the country starting in September.

My Worship Experience (release date September 14, 2010), which features Gospel music artists Deitrick Haddon,  Lucinda Moore, Damita, Joann Rosario Condrey and more is slated to be the first project to incorporate the Live Listening Party campaign.

My Worship Experience is a 2-disc collection of heartfelt, sincere Gospel songs that truly celebrate our Savior.
