Israel Houghton News: The Tonight Show, The Tavis Smiley Show & new Gospel music
Don’t forget to watch Gospel music artist Israel Houghton on The Tonight Show Wednesday, September 8th. He is scheduled to sit in with Rickey Minor and the Tonight Show Band. I’m happy for him and can’t wait to check it out.
Israel had a chat with Tavis Smiley recently on Tavis’s radio show. He talked about being worship leader with Joel Osteen in Houston for the past 10 years, his family and what it means to Love God. Love People. You can also hear quite a bit of the new CD during the interview.
Be sure to pick up the new CD Love God. Love People! It features guest appearances from Gospel music artists such as Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, and several members of Take 6. My favorite Gospel songs on the album are “You Hold My World”, “Hosanna”, and “Our God”.
The 12-track Gospel music album was recorded at London’s historic Abbey Road Studios and was produced by Houghton and fellow Grammy winners Aaron Lindsey and Tommy Sims.
