Margaret Allison of the Angelic Gospel Singers Has Passed Away

Margaret Allison of the Angelic Gospel Singers passed away on July 30th according to Malaco Records. The group was organized by Margaret Allison in 1944 as a result of a dream. She was also the manager, booking agent, lead singer and pianist for the group. The group recorded for over 60 years and their hit, "Touch Me Lord Jesus", is a Gospel music classic.
