Gospel Music Artists BeBe & CeCe Winans on TBN+ Donnie McClurkin Interviews Steve Harvey

Check out gospel music artists BeBe & CeCe Winans with Bishop Paul Morton on TBN on the first video.  BeBe & CeCe are great hosts and very funny. I normally watch TBN only in passing and when there is something on I want to watch, but some of the shows have been pretty good lately. Did anybody else catch the show? I think Mom Winans was on there too. I bet all three of them together was something else.

The second video is of the gospel song “Never Thought”,  which is on the new album Still. You got the new CD yet? Amazon has Still for only $9.99 and the cover art on it is a very nice picture of BeBe & CeCe which is a great keepsake of their first album together in 15 years. Some of the other gospel songs on the album that’s getting lots of love are “Grace” and “Close To You”.

Speaking of TBN, GospelPundit & PrayzeHymn posted about Steve Harvey being interviewed by Donnie McClurkin on October 5th. I watched the archived show on TBN and it gave me something to think about. I don’t like to watch long videos online, but this was a good one. Steve talked at length about his walk with God and how some “church folk” perceived and treated him. Several times he broke down in tears.

Be sure to check out the interview. Oh, yeah, he talked about the internet bloggers and how they write stuff that is hurtful and not true.

Thanks Steve for being transparent and truthful. In your own funny and real way you reminded me that it’s all about the heart. People try to judge others based on what they think they know, but only that person and God can truly know the heart.

Gospel Music Artist Bishop Paul Morton Celebrates Birthday at GMWA

I wasn’t able to go to the GMWA gospel event that’s going on in Cincinnati this week, but thanks to Kia @ Light Records I get to see a bit of what’s happening. Gospel music artist Bishop Paul Morton’s birthday is tomorrow, July 30th and he was surprised with cake and the birthday song on Tuesday at the GMWA Daily Bread Service.

After preaching an uplifting sermon at the Daily Bread he signed his latest gospel CD, Cry Your Last Tear, and his latest book Unemployed Faith. Then he performed the gospel song “Don’t Do It Without Me” during the GAG luncheon.

From reading twitter updates it sounds like everyone is having a blast at GMWA! Sounds like there is a lot going on which is great for the advancement of gospel music.
