From Cross Movement Records: Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, K-Drama has been unceasingly grinding for the last decade on the underground circuits, making a name in the Christian hip-hop community not only as an artist, but also as a premiere producer and a relentlessly hard worker.
With a reputation of delivering crunk, anthem-type music that motivates listeners to do right, K-Drama is set to only reach higher heights with his new home at CMR. K-Drama and Cross Movement Records share the same sharply-honed desire to edify Christians worldwide, and their pairing promises to increase their focused strengths exponentially.

At the age of 14, K-Drama felt the charge to evangelize through Gospel rap. He hit the streets, rapping wherever he could; from festivals and outreaches, to church services and juvenile detention centers. With a unique delivery of music and words, along with his humor and personable character, K-Drama caught the attention of people from many backgrounds, ethnicities and cultures. Read more

Although our brother is in a better place, many of us in the Christian hip hop ministry and industry will miss him greatly.  In times like these, we come together as the body of Christ to offer a hand to the immediate family left behind.  Although nothing we do will take away the grief that his loved ones are experiencing , we can show our love and support in other ways. Co-Founder of Cross Movement Records, Juan James aka “Enock”, Dies of Apparent Heart Attack

Juan James aka “Enock”, one of the co-founders of holy hip hop’s Cross Movement Records, has passed away of an apparent heart attack at the age of 35.

From the Cross Movement website:
It’s with great sorrow that we must inform you of the passing of our beloved brother Juan James aka “Enock” – one of the co-founders of Christian rap group The Cross Movement. His passing occurred Saturday morning, October 17, 2009 of an apparent but, yet still unconfirmed heart attack. It is impossible to express our sadness as words fail our emotions and sentiments.

Our prayers and loving support go out to his entire family and the Cross Movement family as a whole. Our greatest joy in this time of mourning is that he knows his God intimately and is in His presence celebrating our Lord. As our Lord lives, so does “Nock.”  As details regarding his going home service are made available, we will keep you informed.

Please pray with us, mourn with us, and celebrate with us. We’ve lost our brother presently but, the Lord is with his son Juan eternally. So you preceded us to the Lord Nock, we’ll proceed with the representin’… see you soon bro.

According DaSouth.com, Enock collapsed while at his job in Houston, Tx. It is known that he was being treated for hypertension and was on medication to stabilize his blood pressure.  He is survived by his wife Natalie and four year old daughter Jana in Houston. In Pennsylvania he is survived by Genesis (9), Juan Jr. (11), and Chavonna (17).

Much Luvv Records and DaSouth.com will be organizing a benefit concert for the family.  For monetary gifts, make all financial contributions payable to Natalie James at the address below:

It was very encouraging to read the comments made about Enock on DaSouth’s website. He was loved and respected by many and will be missed. Our prayers are with Enock’s family and Cross Movement.
