The live finale of the How Sweet the Sound™ Gospel Celebration was held this past weekend in Atlanta. Award-winning Gospel Artist Donald Lawrence was the emcee and the choirs were judged by Marvin Sapp, Hezekiah Walker and Gabrielle Union.
Acme Missionary Baptist Church of Chicago took the top prize, Burning Bush International Ministries of Ypsilanti, Michigan placed second, and Atlanta West Pentecostal Church won the People’s Choice award. Source

Gospel Aerobics-Praise God & Excercise At the Same Time
Creative Praise International is helping women in Maryland get fit with "purpose drive praise". The dance and aerobics outreach ministry offers an intense workout to gospel music for an hour. It’s a small class and each session is started with a prayer.

BeBe & CeCe Winans-Right Now (We Need One Another)
BeBe & CeCe Winans, along with Vince Gill and Wynonna Judd, have recorded a single which aims to spread unity and togetherness after Barack Obama’s presidential win. The song’s title is Right Now (We Need One Another) and is available on iTunes and will be the first single on BeBe & CeCe Winans upcoming CD in 2009. The song was performed by all four of the stars on the The Oprah Winfrey Show after the election. Visit Oprah’s website to see the performance.
In other Winans’ news, a post dated November 3rd on CeCe’s website was asking for prayers for Pop Winans and stated that he was in intensive care.
