What New Gospel Music Are You Getting Today?
Lots of New Gospel Music Being Released Today!! Great Gospel Songs For Everyone!
Cool day today in the world of gospel music. There’s a lot of new gospel CD’s being released. I don’t remember so many being released all on one day, but that’s great for us gospel music fans.
The new one from Vickie Winans, How I Got Over, is available today. I’ve talked a lot about this CD because I love the title track. It’s a nice throwback to the gospel songs we heard growing up–it has a nice uptown contemporary feel to it.
J. Moss has a new one out today, too. His is entitled, Just James, and he’s promoting it heavily. I heard him on 92.1 gospel radio with Yolanda Adams this morning and Twitter is buzzing with other appearances he’s had or will be making.
Other new gospel music available today that should be on your buy list are:
- Smokie Norful-Live (CD/DVD)-Deluxe Edition-Prepared as a special thank you for Smokie’s fans, this edition is pretty cool because you get a CD as well as a DVD. It’s nice that the DVD includes the hit gospel songs “Justified” and “Jesus is Love”.
- Troy Sneed-In Due Season-This new CD includes the hit gospel songs “With You Always, “It’s My Season, and a special bonus track of the runaway hit “Work It Out”.
- Javen-Keeping The Faith-I have to be honest and say that I don’t know much about Javen, but I like the album cover and what I heard on the website sounds really good.
- Canton Jones-Kingdom Business Part 2-I like christian hip hop in small doses! lol My kiddies like it so I get to hear a lot of it. I really like Canton Jones’ message and his dedication. His sincerity comes through clearly.
- James Roberson -Everybody Dance-I appreciate receiving a copy of this CD to listen to! It got played on my way to and from church this past weekend so I got a chance to really get into it. And guess what?? I liked it a lot. I appreciate the new school flavor of gospel songs such as “Just Dance” and “Joy Unspeakable”, but I really got into the songs with the old school feel to them like “Holy Ghost” and “Trouble In My Way”. Reminded me of the church I grew up in.
