Mother of Basketball Superstar Shaquille O’Neal Lists Her Favorite Gospel Songs in New Book

Lucille O’Neal’s new book, Walk Like You Have Somewhere To Go, is not a story just about raising the super talented basketball star Shaquille O’Neal, but a book about overcoming alcoholism and teen pregnancy and coming out on top. “I want people to know that all things are possible. When you have a dream, dream big and hold on to that dream.”

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Mama O’Neal’s favorite Gospel songs are some of my favorites too. Take a look at what she listed.

This past Sunday at Lakewood Church Israel introduced the song “You Won’t Let Go” from the new album during service. It was great to hear new material from him. I thought the song was nice–it had a nice driving beat and the lyrics were simple, but effective.
