1. LeJuene Thompson will be releasing a new CD, Metamorphosis , on July 15th. The sophomore project has been eagerly anticipated by Gospel music enthusiasts and will feature the youthful presence of Charlotte-based "Dennis Reed & G.A.P".

2. The 30th Annual Mississippi Gospel Music Awards were held in downtown Jackson Mississippi on Sunday, July 13th. The Canton Spirituals took home three awards-one for National Group of the Year, one for their CD Driven and the single "I Recommend Jesus". 4. Dr. Frederick K.C. Price, pastor and founder of Crenshaw Christian Center, will be affirmed as an Apostle of Faith on Friday, July 25th at 7:30 p.m. at the CCC, 7901 S. Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles.
Celebrities scheduled to perform are Grammy and Dove Award winner CeCe Winans, Mary Mary, and Helen Baylor. Distinguished ministers Pastor Jack Hayford, pastor of West Angeles Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles and Bishop Charles E.
