Pastor Joel recently sat down with the ladies of The View and talked about his new book, It’s Your Time: Activate Your Faith, Achieve Your Dreams, and Increase in God’s Favor
Barbara Walters: Do you feel that God will always reward you if you have an optimistic attitude?
Joel Osteen: I believe that you will enjoy your life more and that you will see God’s favor in greater ways. That doesn’t mean that if I have a good attitude today that nothing bad is going to happen. God takes us through seasons and detours and sometimes closed doors…… It’s a lot about your perspective and trusting that God is in control.
Of course they asked him the homosexual question. Why do they always ask him that? lol His answer is always the same–he feels that it’s not God’s best. This time he added that he thinks that they are some of the nicest people in the world. Which I thought was kinda funny.
Too bad they didn’t have Lakewood Choir on too. I would have loved to hear them sing some of their popular gospel songs. Oh, well all in all I thought it was a great interview. Check it out and let me know what you think.

It was a great show!! Their singing was flawless as usual, and they looked beautiful. They were there to sing for Sherri Shepherd’s birthday celebration. Sherri was so excited, I thought she was going to pass out. lol She also had Jawn Murry and some other friends in the audience.
They sung the classic gospel music song “Higher Ground” from the new Oh Happy Day compilation CD, and Sherri’s favorite, “You Bought The Sunshine”.
As the sisters were singing I couldn’t help but think about how proud their mother would be of them. Mattie Moss Clark was a pioneer in her own right and she put her all into her girls. In a documentary that came on TV a while back, she told her daughters that all she wanted was for them to stick together.
Great look for The Clark Sisters and gospel music!
